House Fire 8433 W Meadow Park (12/26/2007) : Station 16 on scene gave heavy fire involvement. SQ16 was fire attack, E16 took command, Q17 search and rescue and fire attack, SQ8 utilities,E8 assisted with fire attack, E33 assisted with ventalation and fire attack,, BAT1 took Command, 182 was Safety Officer. Crews found heavy fire in the basement and made a good knockdown to keep the house from being a total loss.

House Fire 1623 N. Arkansas (12/30/2007) : E25 on scene advised they had a working attic fire. E25 was fire attack, E1 assisted fire attack, E7 provided water supply with a 5in hose. SQ7 provided search and rescue on the multiple occupancy home. AP1 assisted with searching for extensions.

Building Fire 900 E. 69th St. N. (12/19/07) : Station 32 on scene advised fully involved storage building/shed. Quint 32/Tender 32 were fire attack, E37 pumped to Quint 32, and assisted with fire attack, Tender 37 set up a dump tank. E33 assisted with fire attack. BAT32 was command, SQ13 was safety until BAT34 arrived. Valley Center Tender 411 and Tender 33 also assisted with the water shuttle. County Investigator also responded to the alarm.

House Fire 927 N. Crestway (12/13/07) : SQ5 on scene had smoke/flames showing from the roof of an attached garage. SQ5 was fire attack, E5 took intial command then transfered command to BAT9. AP9 was assigned to ventilation and E5 officer was sent in to join his crews and be fire attack group leader. E9 laid a water supply to E5. Fire attack advised that the fire was in the attic and they were having to pull ceilings to accesss the fire. AP9 set up ventalation and took care of the utilities. Search and Rescue and Q14 assisted with pulling ceilings and assisted helping fire attack knock down the fire. Crews made a good knockdown on the fire.

Building Fire 3600 N. Hydraulic (11/25/07) : Station 3 on scene gave Code 2, E10 was Water Supply, Q4 and HR4 were Ventilation, Q32 Assisted E3 with Fire Attack. BAT1 was Hydraulic Command, One Code Green patient was treated at the scene. E5,SQ5, AP1,MA1, Safety Officer, 2 EMS Units, 1 EMS Captain, and Fire Marshall all responded to the fire. Fire was contained to a plastic machine.

House Fire 1326 E. Erie (11/22/07) : First due Engine and Squad 10 arrived to find a single story private dwelling with heavy fire showing from the “Alpha/Delta Corner” Station 10 and Squad 5 members stretched a CAFS line off of E10 and advanced it through the front door. Once inside they found two rooms off with significant involvement to the attic. The foam line made quick work of the fire despite the heavy involvement. Battalion 1 had the “Erie Command”s

House Fire 2324 E. Shaddybrook Ln. (11/21/07) : E10 on scene had smoke showing from a 1 story residence. E10 went in as Fire Attack and found a fire in the living room and the bathroom. E10 made a knock down in about 5 minutes. E5 was Search and Rescue. BAT1 took command from SQ5 as soon as he arrived on scene. Fire Crews had to fight there way through a lot of debris to get to the fire. E10 made a good stop to save all but the bathroom and part of the living room. Utilities were pulled by E5.

Garage Fire 364 N. Rutan Ave. (11/20/07) : Station 5 on scene gave heavy fire on a detached garage. E5 Fire Attack from the West, E9,SQ5, and E10 were Fire Attack from the East, BAT9 was Command. A power line that was still arcing forced crews to back up from the structure. Fire attack crews did a great job at stopping this fire from spreading to any of the direct exposures next to this fire.

3 Alarm Building Fire 1321 E. 1st St. (11/19/07) : SQ1 and E1 were responding to a systems alarm and found heavy smoke coming from a large industrial building. BAT 1 made a quick 2nd alarm then went to a 3rd about 30 minutes later. 181 Safety, AP1, AP2 Aerial Attack, E1 Fire Attack, E25 Pumped, BAT 1 Command, BAT2 South Division, HR4 Ventilation, Q4 water supply for AP1, SQ1Fire Attack, E11 Water Supply for AP2, E5 Fire Attack, SQ5, SQ2 E10,SQ12,E328, E7, 191, 192, E2 MA1, all investigators also responded to the alarm.

Garage Fire 2428 N. Jeanette (11/8/07) : SQ7 o/s had a code 3 fully involved on a detached garage. SQ7 initiated fire tac. E7 took command at first. Fire tac advised that there is ammo in the building. E1 pulled a water to supply to E7 who pumped the fire. E7 advised command that there were also lawn mowers and gasoline in the building. E7 was exposure protection, and advised that the exposure to the southwest (the House) had fire in the attic.

AP1 and E25 hooked up to a hydraunt to pump to E7, Crews found one Code Black victim in a fire apartment.BAT1 Command, BAT2, E1, E3, SQ3, Q4, Q13, SQ13, MA1, Safety, Deputy Chief, Fire Marshal, Investigation Captain all responded to the alarm.

Fire went defensive for a few minutes, but resumed offensive where crews made a good knock down on the fire.

Building Fire 533 S. St. Francis (9/10/07) : Building Fire at 533 S. St. Francis at 3:45 A.M., SQ2 was there on a dumpster fire and found fire inside the building on the first and second floor. E2/E26 were East Division, E1/E25/Q4/SQ2/HR4 were West Division with access to the 2nd Floor. A lot of the fire was contents and rubbish.
